Giants fans are gearing up for Saturday’s game against Edinburgh Capitals in the SSE Arena. The Scottish fans always bring plenty of colour and fun to the SSE which is great to see.
The Giants will see the return of Jeff Mason to the lineup, in his first home game back for what will be his eight season in Belfast. So there must be something keeping him around!
The Capitals are hoping for a better season under the leadership of new Ukranian coach Dmitri Khristich, a former NHL and KHL player, after their disappointing season last year. Its another quite new squad in the EIHL, with a good selection of Scottish players to cheer on. The good mix of European, Scottish and Canadian teams make them a fast, skillful side. The Giants are off to a great start this season so it will be a tough test for the Capitals, in what will be another great game in Belfast.
