Giants Causeway Cliff Path Walking & Coach Tour

Belfast City Sightseeing
Giant's Causeway Cliffs

The guided cliff top walk at the Giant’s Causeway is a full day luxury coach tour from central Belfast which begins with a spectacular 5 mile (8k) coastal hike along some of the best cliff views in Europe. Depart central Belfast for a drive directly to the Causeway Cliffs.

Your coach driver/guide will hand you over to a dedicated walking tour guide at Dunseverick Castle. The hike is suitable for those of average fitness with an interest in spending some quality time in the outdoors. At just 5 miles the walking tour includes amazing views, time for photographs, points of interest guided commentary, a quality visit to the main Giant’s Causeway site before rejoining the main coach tour.

The tour continues with a visit to the famous Carrick A Rede rope bridge (viewing point only). In the late afternoon relax on the luxury coach for a stunning coast drive back to Belfast including the beautiful coastal locations of Cushendun, Cushendall, Glenariff and Glenarm. The final stop along the coast is a photo opportunity at the amazing Carrickfergus Castle built in 1177.

Tours run every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from February to November. The full tour including 3 hour and 20 minute guided hike and coach tour transfer from Belfast is just £57 per person sharing or £67 for single bookings. Minimum age for the cliff hike is 12. It is recommended that those aged between 12 and 16 have experience doing long walks.

Cliff hike places are limited. All tours run. On very rare occasions, if the weather forecast suggests strong winds on the high cliffs, we may alter the walking route slightly.

Please note that the cliff hike option means you will not visit Dunluce Castle nor the Bushmills Whiskey Distillery.
