Belfast Troubled History Tour

The Ultimate Victorian City

Over more than 400 years, Belfast has developed from the small Irish settlement of Béal Feirste to a giant of the industrial revolution and later to a scene of a conflict that lasted over thirty years. At one time the biggest city in Ireland and one of the most industrial city’s in the United Kingdom, Belfast is known as the “Ultimate Victorian City”. Hear about rebellions, the industrial age, the troubles, peace and prosperity, and see our most important city sights – artwork, murals, and architecture plus fascinating if less obvious spots along the way.

The tour starts at 12:00 midday Saturday and Sunday, lasting 2 hours and the price is £18 per person. The meeting point is front gates of Belfast City Hall opposite Visit Belfast Information Office. The tour covers approximately 1.5 miles and the ground is level throughout.

Look for Guide with distinctive Blue Umbrella and Walking Tours Belfast branded clothing. Tour will finish close to the City Hall.
