Hockey returns to Belfast after a weekend of road games, and despite putting away Cardiff in a VERY bad tempered game, they failed to do the job against Coventry.
Big news in the new signing of Matt Bissonnette from Manchester Storm. He’s a big fella, 6′ 4″, and will go straight into the lineup for Saturday’s Cup clash against Fife. The Giants have had a few players sidelined through injury, and Bissonnette should make an impression.
Fife fans and their fantastic jerseys are always a bright sight in Belfast, and as the oldest ice hockey team in the UK their fans have seen it all, but Belfast brings them back each season. There’s something for everyone here: W5 and the Titanic Experience for children and adults of all ages, the politics of West Belfast for the historians, and of course Belfast’s famous night life!
The quickest and cheapest way to see it all is with a City Sightseeing pass, with stops at all the major attractions, including the SSE. So why not avail of the special offer for ice hockey fans! Present your ticket for the game and receive a special discount. Discounts are also available on the bus for the Titanic Experience, Crumlin Road Gaol and HMS Caroline. Tickets are valid for 48 hours so make the most of your weekend in one of the most unique cities in the world!
You can hop-off the Belfast City Sightseeing tour at stop number 3 to visit ‘The SSE Arena’.
