A new way of looking at things
“ones’ destination is never a place but a new way of looking at things”
It’s easy to think about trips and travel as needing a few weeks off work, going to sunny climes, pockets filled with foreign currency and bulging suitcases. Although, how fantastic would it be to take a trip, travel and sight-see in our own city!
The familiar places we rush past on our way to and from work, the streets where we sit in traffic after a busy day – they all have so much to offer. We just need to look at them through ‘new’ eyes. Be a tourist for the day; enjoy and appreciate what’s right in front of us.
Belfast has so many amazing buildings, landmarks and attractions on offer. Hopping on a bus is hassle free and really lets you relax, unwind and soak up the unique atmosphere and sights on offer.
One place worth a visit is the Waterfront Hall. Built in 1997 and considered a catalyst for development in this part of Belfast – the recent upgrade and extension is definitely a ‘must see’. Stop 7 on the City Sightseeing Tour will leave you there – you’ll be impressed by the architecture, have a look inside, stop for a coffee or browse the gift shop.
Take some time for yourself, meet with friends and really make the most of what’s around you.
