The Causeway Coast
The highlight of the tour is the Giants Causeway tour, Ireland’s only World Heritage Site. Spend some time climbing over the ancient stones, getting those photos, and enjoying the myths and legends that surround this world famous attraction.
It is an area of over 40,000 basalt columns caused by an ancient volcanic eruption.
It is also classified as a National Nature Reserve currently owned and managed by the National Trust.
The journey to the Giants Causeway is one of the most stunning in Ireland! No visit to Ireland is complete without a visit to the Giants Causeway, it would be like visiting Paris and not spending some time at the Tour Eiffel.
Old Bushmills Distillery
Bushmills Irish Whiskey is made at Ireland’s oldest working distillery in County Antrim, Ireland. The brand portfolio includes five award-winning whiskeys: Bushmills, Black Bush, Bushmills 10 year Malt, 16 year Malt and 21 year Malt. Bushmills is the only distillery in Ireland to make triple-distilled malt whiskey. This is at the heart of all Bushmills whiskeys and creates a unique combination of smoothness and richness.
In 2008 Bushmills celebrated the 400th anniversary of the original licence to distil whiskey granted to the Bushmills area in 1608. The distillery marked the occasion with the release of a limited edition Irish whiskey of exceptional smoothness, Bushmills 1608.
Watch whiskey making take place and enjoy a wee taster too as we unlock the secrets of 400 years of distilling at the home of Irish whiskey. For the ultimate Bushmills experience.
Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge
Then onward to the world famous Carrick-a-rede Ropebridge. The brave among us can make the terrifying trip across the bridge (weather permitting)* that was originally erected by salmon fishermen. Those who prefer to keep their feet firmly on land can take one of the exhilarating walks and enjoy the stunning views.
All that then remains to be done is to sit back and relax on the comfortable journey back to Derry. This tour really is a must. With the combination of our lovely coaches, experienced and friendly tour guides, and wonderful attractions, you?d be mad to miss it!
