Tour overview
n response to the success of our original tour to Westeros, we are now delighted to offer this new tour to the locations associated with Winterfell. Our first stop is Tollymore Forest Park, the very place where the Dire Wolf Pups were discovered and the Whitewalker Ambush took place. We then stop for lunch at the famous Percy French Restaurant (Irishman Percy French wrote the world-famous song, Where The Mountains Of Mourne Sweep Down To The Sea) in the seaside town of Newcastle (cost of lunch not included).
After lunch we visit Inch Abbey, the site where Lady Catelyn Stark heard of Ned’s death and where Robb was then made King of the North. The highlight of the tour is Audley’s Castle and Castle Ward. This location is instantly recognisable as the place where King Robert Baratheon arrived at Winterfell as well as numerous other scenes featuring the Stark family, including Bran’s archery training.
Our coach tour is limited to 30 passengers per day allowing us to use a smaller coach to visit these intimate locations. Because of this we strongly recommend booking early to guarantee your seat.
